what is smart lan? I couldn't for the life of me figure out how to set it to anything other than the default on the ud3p.

I'm going to call uncle on this, and try a pci ethernet card and see if that makes a difference. Is there a particular card to use that is 64bit SL compatible? I saw one on pcwhiz/weaksauce however the links seem to be broken there and i can't find the one mentioned. Thanks?

this on the ud3p? I tried premier and everything i captured via firewire had out of sync audio. I then tried final cut which crashed. had to use friends mac with imovie which captured fine and then import those to final cut. i assume this is all working fine for you with the usb audio dongle...

anyone know what kaido uses for video editing on SL? Primiere pro or Final Cut?

is applehda the only kext i have to delete to remove the audio support for the ud3p? I think its causing skype to blow up on my when i try to make a call, since i updated to 10.5.8 and my onboard audio isn't working. we'll see, waiting for a 8gb to come in the mail so i can go for SL...
