true but since with dual cores out they are dropping in price and so will the quad boards so i will have the option of getting 2 more at a lower price a year from now and upgrading to 4 with a quad board at that time.

yes there is a list but only lists 252 or 2xx chips however i believe all 8xx chips are backward compatible meaning they should run on 2x boards.

well i am sworn of them Intel chips for good ever since i found that they wont let you overclock them and totally discourage it. If i am willing to take the heat risk and other factors i dont see why they wont let people tinker some and try to use their intellect and get more out of the chips...

Will the 852 cpu's run in a dual board as wellor not i was made to understand that they would run in this board, as well as in a quad or octa board in 4 or 8 way setup. I am buying this board so just wanted to confirm that they would run in this. Thanks to all for help.
