I am getting ready to put together my new system which is an Abit BH7 and P4 2.66. What bios setting do I need to set aside from the defaults? Will the system autodetect and set the mulitplier and bus speed or do I need to set that? If I need to set it, how do I figure out the mulitplier...

I am getting the abit BH7 and want to move my video card from my current machine to the new mobo. The video card is the Asus V7700 GeForce 2 GTS 2x/4x card. The manual for the BH7 says not to use 3.3v cards, only 1.5 volt cards. How can I tell what voltage my card is? G:confused:

I was am upgrading to a new mobo and cpu. The mobo manual says to only use video card that is 1.5v. The card I have is an ASUS V7700 GeForce2 GTS AGP2x/4x. How can I tell what voltage my card uses? G:confused:

I am planning on getting the following Abit BH7 P4 2.66 My question is, is there any benefit to me buying PC3000 memory over PC2700 memory? Both are Cas2 rated. The motherboard only supports PC2700, and the manufacturer says the ram will overclock. It is HyperX G:evil:

Does this combo seem pretty good. Abit BH7 P4 2.66 - retail 512MB Hyperx cas2 I do not mind paying more to get the speed as compared to buying the lesser speed chip and then OCing it. Besides with my luck, I wouldn't have much success. G:evil:

Do you think the 2.66 with the BH7 is a good combo, even if I cannot get a high percentige OC? What is the multi VID chip? G

I was thinking of getting the 2.66 p4 with the Abit BH7 mobo. Has anybody done any oc'ing with this chip? G:confused:

I had not planned on overclocking. I only asked about it out of curiosity. Is the 2100 OC'ed actually better that an 2600 333 with cas2 memory? G:confused:

Ok, I am sure this has been asked before, but here I go anyway. I was looking at buying the AMD 2600+ 333Mhz with the ASUS A7V333XL mobo and PC 2700 512M Cas2 memory. Now, I noticed I could get the Intel 2.6 400Mhz with the ASUS P4S533-E/L mobo and PC2700 512M Cas2 memory for the same price...

Target has them here in the Richmond, VA area for $339. I went to one BB and they did not have any, the other BB would not even do the deal. Went to Staples and showed them the reciept for $279 and they matched it, no questions asked. They did not even call Target to varify price or on hand...
