    Crucial MX100

Just picked up the 512Gb variant of the MX100 from Newegg (think it was limited to one per customer). I trust Crucial and like their drives. Psyched to plunk this new one in my notebook and see how it performs. The pricing on these is a steal, extremely awesome. Can't wait!

Fudzilla: Bulldozer performance figures are in

More importantly, is he trying to make a "statement" with half of his face shaved and a muskrat stuck to the money shot side. Truly, some scary stuff.

Why does nvidia cheat so much?

An assembly line of online puppets that keep touting the company gospel so that those same people keep receiving free goodies periodically. Although, I'm certain you're above such hubris.

The 3200+ & 6800GT have it!!!!! Thanks guys. I've been obsessing over this for 2+ months, I need some closure in the form of getting my brand new toy. Great feedback. This website is an invaluable resource, and seems like a great community. Time for o'bit of deh....bubbly on that note. Roger...

Nick, concerning that other scenario of the 3200+ and 6800GT or 3800+ and ATI 9800 Pro, what do you see as more bang for the buck? I was thinking the 3800+ & 9800 Pro. Any thoughts?

Wow, I didn't know that. NOW I understand what you meant. That rocks, and changes everything. I'm a student at the moment, and this is a lot of money for me to lay down, that's why I'm trying to cover all my bases, and make intelligent decisions. Thanks for the help, Nick.

Dimension XPS Gen4 pretty damn awesome

Toad, good decision on Monarch. They are second to none in terms of customer service as far as I'm concerned. Great company. Their RR's speak for itself. http://www.resellerratings.com/seller2079.html

Yes Insidious, I was wondering about that. It seems negligible to me, as I'll not be doing any networking at all. I think that one could get by if the purpose is generally for gaming, as you said. Sound advice. Also, thanks for the advice on the value RAM, Nick. Still a little worried that you...

" nick1985 always tells newbies to get value RAM in order to cut costs, and I wish I'd followed that advice. I got a gig of Corsair uber-memory for $280 instead, and wasted lots of money. On the plus side, I can overclock later to my heart's content, but I don't know what the f*ck I'm doing with...

Yeah, you're right Meltdown, I fell in love with that card..lol. Oh...to dream. The peak Mtexels/s, gb/s, antialiasing, all that good stuff was just amazing. At least Nvidia still has the openGL on them. :) Thanks for the advice guys, I'll probably go with a set-up similar to what CM said.

Thanks, CM. Good advice. Although, about the RAM and Mobo. I'm a little leery of using an Epox one, have you used one before? Also on the RAM, isn't the low latency variety supposed to enhance the quality of the 64 chips (or just for OC'ing purposes?), or is that just heresay and spin doctoring?
