Another vote here for the 19" NEC AccuSync 95F. I've had mine for about a year and been very pleased. I'm sure the Samsung's are good too. Sony was just a bit too far out of my price range. However, keep in mind that your monitor is prolly the most important piece of equipment you can buy for...
I've used the 95F for about 8 months now and really like the clarity and brightness of the screen. I run it at 1024x768 @90hz. I have not seen the 955DF so I can't compare the two. But, I've been very pleased with the 95F.
In the Bios setup utility...have you tried the "Load Fail-Safe Defaults"? This sets your bios/system to the most conservative settings (and theoretically the most stable settings). Try that to see if you can get a stable (albeit slower) system. Then, you can start tweaking your bios...
For $50 you can get 256MBs of high quality, PC133, CAS2 RAM from crucial.com (2nd day shipping is free). Why take a chance with some "no-name" brand? Just my opinion :)
I have a KT7A with a 1.2 Ghz TBird. Works great and fast as hell! Just make sure you flash to the newest bios and have good quality memory- if you plan to overclock at all. Good Luck!
