You didn't say what is in your pc. The instability you're seeing could be due to a simple irq conflict from the cards you have. I know you may think that it says everything is working, but trust me, it's not.

Good luck!

In the Bios setup utility...have you tried the "Load Fail-Safe Defaults"? This sets your bios/system to the most conservative settings (and theoretically the most stable settings). Try that to see if you can get a stable (albeit slower) system. Then, you can start tweaking your bios settings to get the best overall performance.

Go into the BIOS and under the "PNP/PCI Configuration" menu, make sure that "PNP OS" is set to off. This overides ACPI and will set up your devices on seperate IRQ's. ACPI is well known to set up every single device on on a single IRQ. Also, if you have a SB Live! or other sound card that uses SB Pro emulation, go into the "Legacy Devices" and set up IRQ 5 for ISA/Legacy and DMA 1 as ISA/Legacy. Or, just disable it in the Device Manager in Windows if you don't ever plan on using it. A complete format of the hard drive may be necessary to get complete stability (as in my case), so, I'd recommend doing that after making those changes to the BIOS.

A good read on ACPI and the problems that it can cause:

Note: I'm still using the early UL BIOS version that was on it when I purchased it and it's rock solid stable.
