How do i know if the chip i order has the bridges connected already?

Well your sig says your going to get a 1.333Ghz CPU. That particular chip comes with the L1 bridges already connected. I think all the 266Mhz FSB CPUs come that way. It would be smart on AMD's side as allot of people may buy them and not be able to run at 266. Then they would have to return...

    Abit KA7-100 how far?

Those are great results. My 700 will max out at 812. :( That is my chips limit. I got a GFD and still could not get higher (using a multi of 8). Be happy with what you have and don't waste the $$ on a GFD (if your reaching for 1G). Your system is running faster than if you used a GFD anyway...

If your not going to OC, you can find a multitude of heatsink / fan combos out there that will be fine for your needs. I would suggest getting a high end HSF and some good thermal grease. AMD has a list of fans for their CPUs and that would be the place to start. Yes, these chips get hot. You...

Abit KA7 and KT7A-RAID voltage mods

Does anyone know of a way to get more than 1.8V out of these motherboards without soldering? Is there a certain BIOS that I can use to get more voltage to the CPU? Just wondering as I have some stability issues on my K7 700 Athlon. I also have a KT7A-RAID on the way right now and might need...
