If your not going to OC, you can find a multitude of heatsink / fan combos out there that will be fine for your needs.
I would suggest getting a high end HSF and some good thermal grease.
AMD has a list of fans for their CPUs and that would be the place to start. Yes, these chips get hot. You wouldn't want to leave anything to chance on your new CPU. As for cases, make sure you have a few fans to circulate the air inside the case. Get at least one in the front (sucking in) and one in the back (blowing out).
It's also very important that you have a 300W (or more) Power Supply. These chips use quite a bit of power and you will not be happy if you have an under powered system.
As for fans, check out a few of these sites:
These fans are great, but make allot of noise.
GlobalWin (FOP32, FOP38, WBK38)
This is a link to a place that sells the thermoengine. It seems to be a great cooler. With fan speed of 5100 RPM it may produce less noise than the others (not sure). It's only 16CFM compared to 30+CFM of the GlobalWins (less air volume), this usually means a more quiet fan.

Here are some Yahoo search results for the Alpha PAL6035. This is supposed to be another great cooler. Some assembly may be required.

This place sells them pre-assembled (never bought from them and can't speak for their workmanship)

I would stay away from thermaltake (ORB) devices.
I have had a few bad experiences with them. My 1.333 system is on the way, and so is my

Hope some of this info helps. I would wait for further responses before buying.
