Step 1: Take off all case panels.
Step 2: Drive or take a cab to the airport.
Step 3: Run out onto the tarmac (where the planes sit)
Step 4: When plane goes to leave hold case (with panels off) up to engine (back of engine of course)
Step 5: Blast from engine will blow dust off. Your done...
Normal PC users suck. Overclockers and Modders (like myself) RULE !!!!!
Kiddn'
PC modding is just a hobby, it's fun and challenges you (the o/c'n part mostly) and don't forget...
THE BRAGGING RIGHTS !!!
To say to all the friends/family/other ppl that "I have the BaDdEsT MoFo...
Just use a oral thermometer (clean it first though...sheesh), stick it between the heatsink and CPU to obtain the best reading.:P Seriously though: Motherboard Monitor 5 is a program. Just download it from the net, install and run. Since you have an ASUS motherboard you should have ASUS PROBE...
yawn...I could care less what Apple brings out. Can't o/c or mod worth a damn, so who cares. Oooo it can convert a MP3 faster than my computer, big deal. Plus it's too much fun buying components and building/modding computers than to buy a WYSIWYG like the G5 (or any Apple for that matter). Even...
Do some comparing here at these 2 places....

make sure to check out the sample pics to compare them both. I personally think that picture quality is the MOST important thing. I would rather have a clear/clean...
Awesome!! I noticed my mouse/keyboard heating up recently during intense matches of BF1942. I was thinking of going air cooled though. Maybe a heatsink/fan combo mounted on each of them...hmmm....ppl R cRaZy:P
I'm at a hurdle as well that's similar to yours. I can do 145 FSB fine with the stock Intel heatsink/fan but when I hit 150 FSB I need 1.7v which runs desktop/simple programs just fine. But when its 3DMark2001se and 3D games time she heats up alot (hasn't crashed but the temps freak me out so I...
I already had the usb enabled and I tried pluging in the device (joystick) but with the same results. I might have to reinstall windows, but I really (really, really) don't want to. I'll admit Windows XP looks pretty and has some cool stuff on it like the monitor but I've never had so much...
Grrr. I need help on this one guys.
When I boot to windows (XP pro) the wizard finds 3 usb devices. It then tells me that they cannot install and gives me a 'data is not vaild' message on the wizard window (drivers won't install). I've upgraded to the Service Pack 1 which should fix some of...
Seems a tad high but I've never had a 2.0a only 1.8a. Check this reference...http://users.erols.com/chare/elec.htm
I'm assuming you have your thermal pad on the bottom of the heatsink removed and some sort of thermal grease on instead (Artic Silver 2, 3 or something of the sort)?!
I had the same problem with my old system running XP and the V3 3000. Voodoofiles.com has some 3rd party drivers for windows XP that might work. I fixed the problem by buying a GF 3 Ti 200 for the spare computer. www.voodoofiles.com
Quicky question. I have the P4B533 and 1.8A@2.52 (haven't tried higher yet) and in bios I have the vcore set @ 1.575 but Asus Probe shows vcore @ 1.648 and MBM 5 shows vcore @ 1.65 (more or less same as Asus Probe). My question is why is there such a HUGE gap between what I'm setting the vcore...
Looks like 'Split Loom' to me. Any automotive or hardware store should have it. Some even in different colors; and I've even seen gold and chrome types.
Did you remove that lame excuse of a thermal pad thats attached to the heatsink? You should remove that stupid thing BEFORE you put on thermal paste. I have a P4 1.8A@2.52 o/c'd which idles 36 Celcius and 50 loaded (stock inel heatsink/fan). Also use rubbing alcohol to remove any of the sticky...
