I'm thinking about buying a new mobo but I have some doubts about my gfx card compatibility... I have an Asus V6800 Dlx (GeForce256 DDR) gfx card wich i'd like to maintain for now (lack of ??? for a complete upgrade). This gfx card is AGP 4x. My current mobo is an Asus A7V classic (KT133) All...

    Motherboard - AGP voltage compatibility

I'm thinking about upgrading some parts on my PC in a few weeks. Because I'm short of money I'm planning upgrading step by step. I'm thinking of buying the graphics card first, while waiting for the Athlon64 to arrive. My question is does an ATI 9500 Pro works on a Asus A7V (KT133 chipset)...

    Windows 2000 not booting problem

It really was the memory! I I disabled the "quick post" setting in the BIOS and it gave me a "memory test fail" error. I removed the DIMM to check if everything was in place, and it continued to give the same error. (after I put it back, of course :) ) I run DocMem (memory testing program)...

    Windows 2000 not booting problem

Here's the problem: After a sudden reboot, my PC just doesn't load Windows 2000. It shows the white progress bar but it reboots itself before the end. Pressing F8 shows that while/after loading the file MUP.SYS is where it hangs then reboot. ...and so on, and on... It doesn't do anything else...

    Will a TNT2 card work with a P200?

Hi guys! My sister's PC had the graphics card damaged, and I can't find any other PCI graph card at sale. So my question is: will a TNT2 card work with a Pentium 200MHz? I know it should, but sometimes one never knows!... Thanks!

Asus A7V266-E and Wake on LAN

My Asus A7V266-E doesn't bring a connector (or I can't find it) to plug the cable from the NIC, although Asus says the Mobo is WOL enabled. Do you have any sugestions?

    Geforce 4

Obviously it won't have dual-vision since it will be a High-End board and Nvidia doesn't do High-End boards with Dual-Vision (ou Twin-vision or Hydravisiom or ciclope-vision or fuzzy-vision or...) Second it will obviously be a GeForce XP! Everybody is doing it, so why can't they? XP will mean...

    Why? Why?!

Hi guys! I just saw an article about the GeForce3 Ti200, saying it is not like the GeForce2 MX. GeForce2 MX was castrated and bla bla bla. But there is a HUGE thing (at least for some people like me) that the MX's had and none of the GeForce3s have: TwinVision. Why the hell high-end graphic...
