I'm thinking about buying a new mobo but I have some doubts about my gfx card compatibility...
I have an Asus V6800 Dlx (GeForce256 DDR) gfx card wich i'd like to maintain for now (lack of ??? for a complete upgrade).
This gfx card is AGP 4x.
My current mobo is an Asus A7V classic (KT133)
All new boards are AGP 8x/4x but they all state that gfx cards with 3.3V are not supported.
Only 1.5V and 0.8V are.
I don't know the voltage of my gfx card...
Asus SmartDoctor 2.74 states:
VDDQ: 1.58V
AGP Bus 1: 3.28V
So is it 3.3V and therefore incompatible with new mobos or not?
I also have an Asus V7100Pro gfx card, but it also states the same voltages on a Asus A7V266-E.
I could use it too if it is compatible with new boards...
Any input is welcomed!
