I ahve played almost every game I own (over 40) in Win2K without any problems. Every major 3D shooter, RPG, RTS, and cinematic game I ahve ever installed played with no problems, and if they did have problems, it stemmed from my rap ass GeForce and NOT win2K. Jsut my 2 centz.

Could it possibly be your hard drive or power settings kicking in and messing with the client cuz it is trying to shut down the HDD or possibly put the computer in sleep mode? Just a thought.
