Don't switch. Unless you you plan on sticking arond the major cities and nor moving anywhere. I spent last summer in Charlotte and traveled around quite a lot to Myrtle Beach, Charleston, Ashville, Raleigh etc and coverage was top notch. People with ATT, TMobile, Sprint etc had decent service...

Compaq Evo. These are some trusty lappys until HP killed them off. Very good quality control on these things and the speakers are amazing for a laptop. Screw you HP for killing off the line and turning them into the lunchbox HP lappys.
