Thanks again for the info.
I didn't realize that the upper thigh would be a femoral line, that was what was confuzzling me.
I appreciate you taking the time to enlighten me. I didn't have the patience (patience - patients. no pun intended lol) to wait until Monday to find out.
Thanks for the info. :)
(And sorry for not making it clearer about the self administered part lol)
So it is done by the subclavian, internal jugular, femoral or arm? I haven't found anything anywhere that mentions upper thigh but I did see where it could be 24-28 inches long. I just can't...
I won't know until Monday just what type of central line catheter it will be. It looks like the different types are:
tunneled and nontunneled lines, implanted ports and
peripherally inserted central catheters (PICCs)
I'm assuming that it will be a PICC.
<< something you could kill yourself attempting to do unless you're qualified. >>
I assume it was the 'self administered antibiotics' that made you think this might be a total 'do-it-yourself' project. :)

The USPS isn't using the airlines to ship as much mail as they used to, they are using ground transport more. So overall, mail delivery will be slower than it used to be.
I'm looking for some info on IV Therapy. If you have some knowledge on this subject and wouldn't mind answering some questions, please PM me or email me at (MyUsername)@mail.com
My one and only Negative Feedback was retaliation from a NPB. I responded on the Feedback page and also I set up an eBay ME page explaining the situation, pasting his email where he stated that since I gave him Negative Feedback that he thought it was only 'fair' that he give me Negative in...
I got my first and only Negative Feedback in retaliation from a non-paying, non-responsive bidder. I added my comment to his feedback and I also explained it on my ME page on eBay. It is frustrating that eBay will let a deadbeat bidder post negative feedback.
There needs to be some system in place to deal with Non-Paying Bidders. As a seller, they are a real PITA, especially the ones that will not respond even though they are continuing to buy and sell.
(my 2¢ worth)
I have actually been to their B&M site. They have a lot more than just luggage. Any type of sporting equipment, jewelry, electronices, etc. It reminded me of a pawn shop.
