Lets say you sold something and buyer is a NBP. If you leave him negative feedback, can he leave u negative feedback too?
I have all positives and do not want to risk a negative feedback, so I'm a bit hestitant in giving it. I am just wondering for future use.

Thanks.

If you're really that worried, you can wait ~90 days until your time to leave feedback is almost out, then drop it on him. Ebay will, to an extent, remove undeserved feedback, but I wouldn't count on it. I've left 2 negs that never came back to haunt me.

If someone is a nbp, report them. They deserve negative feedback, you'll probably get negative feedback but you also get to respond to what they say.
I had a problem with some guy earlier this year because he expected me to ship to him by a more expensive method for free. I refused and he started to threaten me. At that point in time I refunded his money and told him to take his deception and threats where the sun don't shine.

NPB's suck, by the way it wasn't that halik007 guy? He was suspended for it. :p

ThisIsMatt, I think it's 90 days (unless it's changed again). So on the 89th day, at 23:59, leave the guy his negative. :D

Depending on the circumstances and the person leave at least a neutral if not a negative. You can't be afraid of a retalitory negative because any reputable trader will see it as just that.

Ditto. You have an obligation to warn other sellers. I just popped a NPB, and I'm getting ready to pop another. Any smart buyer will look at your response to their retaliatory feedback and realize what is going on.

Yes! And that's my only feedback that is not Positive. He got a neutral and gave me one in return.

I have only one feedback on ebay, it's a negative. The guy sold me a poorly packaged, damaged product. I complained to him and he told me it wasn't his problem. I left negative feedback and he did the same to me. It hasn't stopped people from selling to me. I wish the others would leave feedback.

You are also given an opportunity to respond to his negative comment as well.. its not just one sided any more. I dont know if there is a limitation on time to respond to a feedback.

I did post a response. On a side note, the bum hasn't made a deal since so no one else is getting his shoddy products.

My one and only Negative Feedback was retaliation from a NPB. I responded on the Feedback page and also I set up an eBay ME page explaining the situation, pasting his email where he stated that since I gave him Negative Feedback that he thought it was only 'fair' that he give me Negative in return. What a jerk.
