I appreciate the help. The cable was originally backwards, but I flipped it around and that didn't change anything. Sounds like I need to return this drive and get another one.

My floppy is unable to see any disks. When I "format a:" I get the following messages Insert new disk for drive A: and press ENTER when ready... (I then press enter and the get the following) Cannot open volume for direct access. Anyone had an idea of what the problem is?

Alright, I'll stick with 2 gigs then, but now I need to decide whether to stick with the 4x512 or go with the 2x1024. It seems everyone gives a different answer on which is better, ugg.

Is running dual channel 2x512 and then an extra 512 chip in the 3rd slot possible?

Obviously going with the four chips requires running 2t timing, but I've also read that even still the 4/512 will outperform 2/1024. Is there a review somewhere comparing the two?

Athlon 64 3500 Venice Power supply is OCZ Modstream 520w

I will be getting the DFI Lanparty NF4 Ultra motherboard. I will overlock some, but I likely wont be pushing it to the limits right away. Considering this, what is the practical difference of the OCZ Gold and the OCZ Gold VX? Is it worth paying an extra $60 or so dollars for the VX?

Yeah, looks wise I like the Antec the least, but it's also the most inexpensive :)
