When I connect HD on ide 1 and cdrom on ide 2 BIOS only recognizes HD but not the cdrom. When I flip the cable (cdrom on ide1 and HD on ide2) everything is recognized fine. But the manual says that HD should always be connected to ide1. Am I taking a performance hit by connecting HD on ide2? I...

Thanks for all the help guys. I went ahead and ordered Radeon 64 VIVO from pczone for about $200 including overnight shipping. I know it might be little more than I could have gotten it for but I really want to fire up this bad boy up tonight.

I?m in a process of building my first pc. At this time 2D and colors are more important to me. I like to get a Radeon card but I have read somewhere there might be some incompatibility with VIA Apollo KT133A chipset. Any suggestions?

Matrox G450 was my first choice but unfortunately is only available in AGP format. Does anybody know if Voodoo 3 is compatible with Windows ME? Thanks
