I?m in a process of building my first pc. At this time 2D and colors are more important to me. I like to get a Radeon card but I have read somewhere there might be some incompatibility with VIA Apollo KT133A chipset. Any suggestions?

The KT133 chipsets are fine. Some of the early revision
KX133 chipsets had some teething problems when attempting to run at 4x.

You shouldn't have any problems. If on the off chance you do you'll find lots of help here.

I have personally run a 64MB retail Radeon on an ABIT KT7AR, and it performed well.

Thanks for all the help guys. I went ahead and ordered Radeon 64 VIVO from pczone for about $200 including overnight shipping. I know it might be little more than I could have gotten it for but I really want to fire up this bad boy up tonight.

My combination of Radeon and KT7A runs smooth as it gets. No problems, I am using the 3100 drivers on Win2K.
