I bought one (geforce4 ti 4200 64mb w/crt connection) a couple of months ago and it does lock up every so often. A lot more than my radeon 7500 ever did. I started my own thread a while back Here
My boxes appear all at once and sometimes I can still see the screen moving for about 10 seconds but then it just freezes but it has only happened in a game for me.
lately the problem seems to be getting worse. Every time I play a game it seems to happen, sometimes 30 seconds into it. I think when new official det's are released I will format and do a clean install.
cabana, do you have weird colors too, what drivers are you using i'm using the 30.82. I have figured out it happens whether I'm overclocking or not. I think it must be a driver problem but i'm still not 100% sure.
If you check the orb there are plenty of scores with 6000 points or more with a 850mhz or less cpu so there must be a problem somewhere else because he is only scoring half of that

I did a complete uninstall of the ati drivers according to this description on driverhaven. Also, I didn't try overclocking the card until the day after I recieved the card and the bootup problem started as soon as I put the card in. The card did come with a mem clock of 513 instead of the...
I just bought a gainward Geforce4 Ti 4200 w/64mb ram and when ever I boot up the screen stays blank and I hear one long beep. If you press the reset button everything starts up fine. I did try reseating the card and making sure it was tight. I used to have a radeon 7500 and that worked fine...
