Sadly, the Hero engine is NOT really optimized for what BW wanted to do with SWTOR. The fact you have that setup just says it all and the drawbacks of the engine.

Same here, think it was a sticky. Those that are going to play the game, which side you choosing, and class? I originally was going to go Sith Iquisitor - Sorc but after spending time was Jedi Shadow leaning towards that.

For me a channeled spell is something like Force Throw or Force Lightning. Spells with a casting time, in my eyes, are not channeled spells, since the effect only happens if I complete the spell, unlike others where the effect happens until it either runs out or I am interrupted in some way.

Got done with the beta weekend. Rolled a Sith Inq at first. Had to go for a bit and my server was filled so rolled on an open server, Repub. Damn I am not sure which side I like more as far aesthetics go Sith or Repub. I PvP'd a lot and had a blast. Huttball teamwork is key to winning...
