    seagate discwizard...transfer from old HD to new..freezes

    If your IDE controller doesn't support larger disks over 137Gb you would have to buy a new add-in card and/or get a BIOS update. As for the transfering of files, I would just do a reinstall. They get fun after a while. :D

    put in wrong resolution-now can"t see anything

    If you would have waited 15 seconds after you changed it, it might have reverted through windows "are you sure" dialogue. Not sure what you can do now, other than hooking it up to a monitor that supports that resolution and changing it lower.

    how to set up server

    www.apache.org has a good (free) web server, www.php.net has php and I think http://www.mysql.com/ has mysql. Install instructions can probably be found at those sites.
