hello guys... does anybody have an idea as to what causes the issue i mentioned above? i cant seem to enable my AGP Texture Acceleration in my DXdiag Tool, it says it's NOT AVAILABLE... is this a hardware problem or a driver issue perhaps? this is an overview of my system:
intel P4 2.4A Presscott
intel D865GBF motherboard (used on-board video and on-board audio)
512MB Dual channel DDR333
80GB seagate barracuda
running on windows xp professional SP2
installed latest intel chipset utility software
updated to the latest intel graphics driver (PV14.7)
updated to the latest intel D865GBF bios (P21)
i've had this issue since my first boot up, already reinstalled my windows xp twice and strictly following driver installation sequence but still i cant seem to make AGP Texture Acceleration available...
is this a hardware issue for the intel on-board graphics? will upgrading to a discreet video card solve this?
any info will greatly be appreciated...thanks
