So I put my new rig together two days ago...and when I started it, I noticed that the CPU speed read 500Mhz instead of the Athlon XP-m2400;s 1800Mhz...so I started to look around in the BIOS and saw that the multiplier and clock were set to 5x100=500Mhz...so I fixed that to the stock speeds...
