Have my new system for about 2 months now. I want a good 5.1 speaker system fora good price and since I dont know crap about speakers for the PC, please tell me which one to buy. Budget is about $200

I have always wondered what is the big deal with 1600x1200 res. Why is everyone so carzy to play at this resolution. Well folks just like the diff is between dial-up and broadband so is the diff between 1600x1200 res and anything else. I simply cannot from this point on play at any lower...

I know it will have pci-e. I am just saying that everyone out there jumping on the bandwagon for socket 939 are premature thats all.

Let me start by saying this. I just upgraded from my primitive Socket A to a very stable and refined Socket 754 rig. I dont really see the need to goto Socket 939 now or in the future. Who is to say that in the next 2-3 years that AMD comes out and says that they are changing their socket...

Thanks guys I just went to safe mode took out all the old drives manually and reloaded them and wholla 10913 3dmark 03 score 58,654 aquamark 03

I just got my 6800 gt and I ran farcry and it looks worse than my Geforce 3. The lighting is way too much. Any reason why this is and is there an easy fix? I am using drivers 61.76

I just ran aquamark 03 and I got a score of 33,000+. Is that good?

Migrating from Geforce 3 and not a fresh install. I didnt try aquamark yet. But the games are all very smooth. Just want the most out of my card that why the concern.
