actually it was this :( i ran the diagnostic and it came up positive.
i can't believe this, this is supposed to be a problem in less then 1% and i got one that is defective.
No i'm running 32bit color 1024 by 768 resolution. This problem only happens with jpegs, gif,bmp etc run fine. I have tried several monitors that work fine in other systems so its not the video cable. I have pulled the video cards from working systems that had no problems with it so i doubt...
I'm sorry if this is in the wrong forum but i am just so frustrated i'm not ever sure where to post it. Here is the situtation every single jpeg picture has dots all over it, this get very annoying when surfing the web. This is what i have tried: first thing i tried was to replace the video...
I'm trying to backup 2 of my dvds. However once they get near the end the movie cuts off. I have tried to slow down the burning speed to 2x and i can't try 1x because the dvd-r don't support it. One of the dvds i'm trying to back up is a single layer and the other was a dual. They both did...
I have a 54mbps wireless router (d-link di-524) I'm getting pretty bad speeds off of it. I set up an ftp server in my desktop to test speeds and this is what i get.... with a wireless connection i get really bad speeds of only 800kps between the 2 computers. with a cable connection i get...
800kps if i'm 2 feet from the router 800kps if i'm 13 inches away from the router. It seems to be capped at that speed when i'm wireless. If i'm using a network cable instead of the wireless card for my laptop then i get 7mps which is still pretty slow for a wire connection.
i actually just checked the speed between the 2 computers with a cable and that's onle 7-8mbps. shouldn't that be wayyyy faster then that since it is no longer wireless? what the hell is going on here with my network? help me please. thank you
no i dont' have any 802.11b, there are only 2 computers on the network one is connected to the router via cable and my laptop is wireless. And yes i have had them within 14 inches of each other so that's damn close. Is there something that could be causing these really bad speeds? thanks
i have a dlink di-524 router 802.11g/2.4ghx with speeds up to 54mbps. Right now when i transfer files between the 2 computers on the network i'm only getting speeds around 800kps, shouldn't this be faster? if so what can i do to speed it up? thank you
