Basically just click cancel on your account and on the second to last page before finalizing the cancelation, it offers to lower your monthly rate by $3, for 6 months.. only catch is you can't cancel inside of those 6 months... but if you are a member of the service and don't plan on canceling...

Just bought a new samsung SD-616 DVD drive to help back up my DVD's faster.. My plextor 708 rips slowly, so that's why i got this drive.. anyways, when using DVD Shrink, every time i try to open a DVD w/ the new samsung drive it says can not open, encrypted/copywrited.. etc Anyone know of...

basically every time i load a webpage, even if i am on the page a million times day, every time i click back and foward, my browser refreshes every single button and image.. How can I stop this from happening? any info helps, thanks.. :) -Matt

I tried downloading the latest Application Accelerator from intels site, but it says it does not support my board (865 series, 800fsb, HT).. anyone have any idea on how to enable DMA, being as there is no option because of the intel chipset and i can't get Application Accelerator?? thanks. -Matt

I'm using my plextor 708, which is an 8x dvd writter, which i guess are known to be a good bit slower than regular dvd-roms.

Using my Plextor 708 8x dvd burner, i can only achieve like 3,000 KB/s DVD ripping speeds.. anyone have suggestions as to what is fastest? (Must be made w/ a black bezel, to match my case of course, ;) ) thanks for any advice. -matt

well after like 2 hours of tinkering and trying everything.. i just uninstalled every single program that had to do with any video codec or dvd playback, and just reinstalled powerdvd... everything works now, woot! :) so if anyone has the same problem.. do what i did, haha.
