So i've finally got my new rig up and running, but am running into a problem...
I have the Asus gtx 680 4gb with two BenqXl2420t's on it wired through the Dual link DVI-I and Dual link DVI-D. Both refresh rates are set to 120hz, but I get flickering and performance issues when running both...
Hey all,
I've been researching for a few weeks as to what parts to purchase for my new gaming build, and have gotten myself stuck on the Phantom 820 case. I'm going to be adding a swiftech H220 CLC to my cpu.
Now i'm not too familiar with the orientation of the fans in this case, but would...
Oh ok that's good news. I'm not interested in having 3D in both monitors hehe.. But 120hz in both off of one GPU is what I would like to have. What exactly is the difference between the Dual link DVI's and Display port??
Quick question...
I am wondering if this is possible? I would rather have two 120hz monitors as I want to game with FPS's in 120hz and don't want two different monitors on my desk. To utilize 120hz, would I need my monitors (benq xl2420t) both tapped into display port? Are there any GTX 680's...
Hey all,
This has been bugging me for a while now and I keep seeing and hearing mixed reviews on each. Prior to making big purchases, I ALWAYS research for hours / days as to what would suit our needs... I'm soon to be building a high end gaming rig. My wife mentioned that she would like...
The response time of the Dell ultrasharp seems to be 6ms. Is this something I will notice while gaming? I have a 2ms monitor at the moment... I've read that ghosting can take place with a higher response time.
Thanks
Ok thanks.. I will look into the price differences..
As far as the monitors go.. Im not too familiar with IPS displays.. The Dell ultrasharp features this... Is there a noticable difference in picture quality with and without??
Thx
Excellent! Thanks a ton for all the suggestions. Is Newegg.ca reliable and are the prices close in comparison to NCIX canada? I ask because I have an NCIX 2 blocks from my place..
Hey all,
I plan to build a new PC in the very near future.. I'm not too savvy with Motherboards and cpus etc. This will be used primarily for gaming (BF3 / BF4, Bio-shock, and other up and coming releases).
1. What YOUR PC will be used for. That means what types of tasks you'll be...
Hey all. I'm new to overclocking and the like. I've downloaded MSI Afterburner to be able to monitor my GPU temp etc. It seems I can run the core clock / shader etc up too. Is this recommended?

Asus gtx570
8gb ram
corsair 650w psu
If some1 could shed some light on this for me...
