It discusses a lot about the bugs in all of DFI boards, and how the company never bothers to fix them. There have been bugs left in their previous boards for years, that they never fixed.
Sincerely,
Bitpower
People have argued that DFI is focused on the overclockers community and as a result they do not bother to fix all the "little" bugs in their BIOS. They say that this is a good thing, because now DFI has time to focus on working solely on creating performance BIOS.
My argument is that this is...
Thats exactly how I feel. I just got fed up with the lack of BIOS updates by DFI.
It isn't worth buying a lanparty just so you can overclock your processor by 20 extra mhz (which makes negligble difference in speed), and then having a motherboard where the BIOS updates are few and far...
Yes, I am agitated at DFI because of their total lack of fixing problems in the BIOS. And it got to the point where it just drove me crazy.
You have to understand, I spent months wondering if my power supply was bad, then discovered there was a bug in the BIOS.
Recently my USB mouse...
If you read my message, then you would realize that the whole point is that you can NOT judge it from one week of experience.
Try using the board for months, and running into weird unexplainable problems. Imagine thinking that your power supply is bad, or another piece of your hardware is...
I have a Lanparty NFII Ultra Version A, and I was given a lot of thought to buying a Lanparty 250GB, but the biggest hurdle and something that I just can't get over is the seriously crappy job that DFI does on BIOS upgrades.
Apparenty, DFI has either no programming department, or just a tiny...
In my personal opinion, its foolish to install SP2.
Microsoft continues to release patches for SP1 in cases of flaws in the operating system.
And just by running Microsoft update to download the fixes yourself and having a virus scanner installed, such as norton antivirus, you have superb...
I got it working now a lot better. I think the problem I was having was a conflict between the wireless mouse and my intel wireless keyboard.
By the way, I just discovered after installing this item, that it is Viewsonic that is the actual true manufacturer of the item. Memorex just puts...
You definitely need a 6800 card. If necessary spend less on another part, like cpu or memory or motherboard.
Because a slower computer with a 6800 GT can kick the butt out of a faster computer that has an older card.
If on the other hand you buy the fastest CPU and motherboard, then you...
I know....lol
I am going to college for computer science, and been a computer nerd since i was born.
It is a Memorex Wireless Optical Scroll Mouse.
I found a review on it, before I bought it. The review said it was good. And it looks like it would have potential if the movement was...
I meant something cheap, that i might have around the house.
Or is buying something "professional" is the only thing that probably will steady my mouse movement?
This is my first optical mouse, and so far I am a bit disappointed. I never had a problem with ball mice.
But this optical mouse seems pretty "jumpy" with the cursor.
I was wondering what is the best thing to stick under it? My computer desk which is colored black and slightly shinny...
That is pretty incorrect. A fast enough mobile barton, say running at 2.8 ghz, is actually faster in games then a stock AMD 64 3200.
There isn't as much difference as you think. Been a lot of tests done between the processors, and lots of articles written on it.
I wish people would try to maintain accuracy when talking about computers.
The Sempron 3100+ is NOT a 32-bit chip. Please stop saying that, because its dead wrong. Just because they disabled the a64 instruction set and the ability for the processor to communicate or to accept...
Anyone know what the Lanparty 250GB is reliable up to for the HTT?
Is 300 the limit on the Lanparty 250 GB or can you do higher then that? And is it reliable at that number? Just because its listed in the BIOS doesn't mean it can work reliably at that number, so trying to find out from...
