For people that still have high temps that are using a Ati Silencer 4 I did a mod on my cooler that dropped it 15C more. Just cut a hole out above the fins on your silencer 4. Cut the hole the size of a 60mm fan(a small cpu fan). Get a cpu cooler (around $15 or lower, with a 60mm fan mounted on...
Before I changed to gpu cooler out I was getting 73C temps on my card under load. I put a VGA Silencer 4 on and now my temps are around 55 - 60C under load. I heard people getting 85C on their card but I never saw those temps and I'm running mine at 555/560. Get a silencer 4 you won't regret it.
I bought a Viewsonic vx910 19"lcd with a 16ms response time and I think its great. Its not as sharp as a CRT but the brightness of colors makes up for it.
I just bought a 3200 and the company I bought it from called me up to see if I wanted to upgrade from a 512 k cache to a 640k cache. My question is what kind of performance increase does the 640 cache do vs. the 512k cache?
I have two chips, a 0307 and a 0417. I heard anything below 0339 is unclocked. But when I change the multiplier to anything about 11 it just stays at 11. It doesn't go any higher. I'm just wondering if you guys can tell me your ways of unlocking your chip. Thanks.
Ok... This is what you do. Get 2 roach clips and solder a wire onto each clip, go to Radioshack and ask the sales guy for a resistor(or small elecrtical circuit board part). Put the clips on each side of the resistor. Go to your friends house. When he gets up from the pc and walks out the room...
