Is there any DVD Player out there that doesn't have some kind of pause on the layer changes??? I have noticed the pause on every player I've watched a movie where it's split between layers.

My 5040 from Rat Shack has a serial number that ends with 3170. I bought that today and it wasn't activated . After the initial setup, it has a 3 day grace. After performing the 382 reset, it now has a 10 day grace. Any ideas what's going to happen with this?
