just wondering beacuse asus states that the max is only 1Ghz but i figured that it was not the case beacuse i had a chaeap ass biostar MB and that thing could handle up to a 1.4Ghz

I just recieved a copy of W2K freom a friend but im having a hard time getting it to run on my system i was just wondering? does anybody know if you are suppose to get a build version on the bottom of your screen when you install W2K or do i have a bogus copy and not a real W2K version beacuse...

i currently have a piece of crap MB Biostar M7VKB and everytime i try to install win2000 i get errors it boots up but it tells me that it cant determin volume label for one of my drives well it gets past the boot process but everytime i try and install my video drivers (AIW 128 Pro), upon reboot...
dont know if this is really a hot deal but i guess if you were in the market for a dvd player and spaeakers it would work out great but im not sure on the quality of Aopen?

i have a biostar M7vkb w/ 750 thunderbird , 256 sdram i want to know if it is possible to use a video card w/ ddram on my mother board even though my motherboard doesnt except ddram ? any help would be great thanks.

if you have a Cd that is not too badly scratched (meaning no Deep grooves) what i found that works very well is using Car Wax, perferably the kind with surface cleaner or swirl removers. just apply the wax with a good amount of pressure...
