ASUS A7V 133 CPU SPECS

just wondering if this board can only handle up to a 1 Ghz Cpu or has anyone tried a faster CPU if so that i am really disapointed with ASUS any info much appreciated

THis board can go all the way up till 1.4Ghz and BEYOND.

just wondering beacuse asus states that the max is only 1Ghz but i figured that it was not the case beacuse i had a chaeap ass biostar MB and that thing could handle up to a 1.4Ghz

When the board was released I believe the fastest CPU out at that time was the 1ghz. Asus is too lazy to reprint their manual or update their website for that matter. It can handle 1.4ghz but I don't think it can handle the Palmino's.
