HELP Need Info On MB

i currently have a piece of crap MB Biostar M7VKB and everytime i try to install win2000 i get errors it boots up but it tells me that it cant determin volume label for one of my drives well it gets past the boot process but everytime i try and install my video drivers (AIW 128 Pro), upon reboot when the system recognizes the video card it just restarts by itself over and over and over i have to run it in safe mode ,remove drivers so that it will stop restarting also during boot process it displays this error disk i/o error status 00008001 then it runs down a list of a bunch of files it looks somethinglike this driver(0)part(0)system....

well if anybody has ever experienced anything like this please help its killing me if not please give me some advice on purchasing a new MB im not looking for anything fancy just ATA 100, 750 Thunderbird support and stable enough to run 2000

All the time! It could be
bad memory
bad video
bad mb
bad cpu

Most likely bad memory or bad memory slot.

Im Currently running ME on my system without any problems whatsoever it only when i try to upgrade to 2000 that i have these problems my

Is your hard drive formated as fat 32?
It tells you in the properties for the hard drive.
