OK, I just setup this router last night. I purchased it to replace my dead D-Link DWL-810+ bridge. When I frist tried to set it up, it was kind of confusing. I then did some googling, and found a thread over at DSLReports with a PPT presentation from a tech at Zyxel showing how to set it up in client mode (sorry, don't have the URL handy). After following the instructions, I still couldn't get it to connect to my WRT54G AP. The funny thing is that the Zyxel kept seeing my AP as a B+G network, when in reality it is only a G network. I then checked Zyxel's website for new firmware and lo-and-behold, they have released version 1.7 (my router came with 1.6). They listed not being able to connect to B+G networks as a bug that was fixed in 1.7, so I downloaded it and it worked just fine (even though it only saw the AP as a B+G network, when it was really a G-only network). So, if anyone else is having trouble setting this up as a client first google for the PPt instructions, and also check on upgrading the firmware.

Anyway, thanks OP! This was a steal at $15 AR + shipping. I was looking at quite a bit more to repalce my dad D-Link, so this saved me some cash!

I'm using this to network my Tivo wirelessly to my WPA network. Does a great job. No more phone lines! (note: requires an approved USB NIC on the Tivo side. I'm using the Netgear FA-120 connected to the Tivo out and Zyxel in).
