Many times when I try to reply to a post,I will copy the senders name to enter in the new post and then go back by hitting the back button(IE5.5) to copy some text from the post I am replying too,and when I get back, its a blank field. It is intermittant, but none the less quite annoying. If it is my problem with my browser,I would fix it,but I have dupplicated the problem on winME,Win 98SE,and linux with Nutscape. Is this a fusetalk glitch related to the cluster farm?

Anyone else experience this?

Nope thats not a fusetalk issue it doesnt blank input boxes.. more than likely it just expires from history or something.

I can not reproduce this with Netscape 4.7 & Winblows 98. I tested by typing "asdkljf" into the message area, hitting the back button, then hitting the forward button. Each time the text was still there.

Just a question, but if you're replying to a post in the same thread, why do you need to hit the back button to get text from that post? Can't you just scroll down the page and see the other posts in the thread?

Or, is this post you're replying to on the second or third page of the thread, and that's why you have to hit back?

It is because the browser is treating the forum like it would a "form". If you move quickly enough back and forth, it doesn't occur because it is still in temporary cache.
