good deal, its 2$ more then the woot deal and not a refurb. i got mine from the woot deal and am pretty happy with it. I never considered getting a zune but i could not pass the price up.
 
Even thought I already bought one from woot, it's tempting to buy another one as a gift for christmas.

If Zune had disk mode, so I can use it with Linux, then I would pay $160. What idiot designed software for this device?

 
Probably same people that believe you have no rights for anything. That music you buy is for you to rent, so are the books, movies, software. Same people that force you to upgrade by providing no backward copmatibility. And the same people that stagger the development of IT by buying out competitors and killing their products (or incorporate the ideas in their own product and sell it for 3X as much).
 
just an fyi everyone who bought from woot has a brand new or like new unit with no blemish or visual defects. same retail package. mine is new except for the refurbished sticker

im beginning to think microsoft is releasing them new but overstocked zune1 30gb still in their warehouses in a special so-called refurbished package so people can't resell them for more money.

Is the deal dead? The main price is now $152. If you look in the right margin, the $100 price with free S/H is still available from Buy.com, but the status is "On Order." I placed the order anyway. Hopefully will get it come November.

Amazon also had the brown Zune for $100 for a few minutes, then it sold out!
 
If the buy deal is dead, goto woot today and get the color of your choice. Mine looked brand new without any blemishes or wear marks.

i disagree. not everyone got a perfect one. there were some posting on fw about getting one doa, scratched up screens etc. mine looks brand new, but i know that wasnt the case with everyone.
