Good price. Just wish is wasn't a blower model. But you can't have it all at this price...or can you?

Sounds like a good price... for an NV gaming card.

How does it stack up to my $129.99 HIS 7950 3GB GDDR5 card(s), performance-wise?
Mine are stock-clocked at 800/1250.

Cons: due to the cheap price it is also a cheap product I believe if you purchase a graphics card no matter the price it should last more than 2 months. this card failed very quickly and is not worth the time or money, its better to spend a little more and get a better product like asus. I contacted the company for an rma which I had to pay for shipping to them and supposedly when the determine its there fault they reimburse your shipping or give you a free upgrade. well i am here to tell you there wrong, I received a new card with no upgrade or no money back from shipping, at first I didn't even care because I was back to my gaming. within 2 weeks had the same exact issue put my old card back in and it worked perfect. I am a computer technician so I knew what it was but to be safe I tested every single part of my PC and found no issues. I discovered the card overheats after 30mins of game play, when the card fails the screen gets distorted and the computer blue screens and restarts, when it comes back on its 8 bit and 640 x480 please do not purchase if you want smooth gaming if you don't mind a constant returns to the company. I did find out they have a software that comes with the card called firestorm so you can overclock your card and also speed up the fan, if you put the fan speed to %100 you can get another week out of the card. please do not purchase it is not worth it

Other Thoughts: product isn't good at all
Edit: Do you think the Newegg review comment above was because that person was using a bad or underpowered PSU?

Hmm, blower no good as a cooler? Was thinking of getting this for a friend, to replace his 9800GT I sold him years ago.

I see that it takes two 6-pin PCI-E power connectors, so I surmise that it is roughly in the same performance class as my 7950 cards are.

IIRC, the 7950 is slightly faster at stock and should overclock much better.

This is the AT bench comparo, but with a 7950 Boost.

The 7950 is a budget beast now; and can be easily OC'd.

The closest new product to the 7950 / 7970 AMD sells is the R9 380 4GB for ~ $239.99.
