happy, i asked a similar question in another thread - is this card's PCB a reference or non-reference design? i see the fan is more or less in the same place as it is on the reference cooler, and yet its not really a reference cooler. i'm trying to figure out if this cooler uses the same mounting points as the reference cooler does on a reference PCB, b/c i'd be interested in using an Arctic Cooling solution with something like this...b/c i know that no matter how quiet some folks might claim this cooler is, i can guarantee it'll be too loud for me lol...

thanks for the info and links you guys

*EDIT* - check out the following pics for comparison...

pic from AnandTech's nVidia reference GTX 560 Ti review:

...it sure looks like all the holes/mounting locations are the same, and the PCB's sure look similar enough that the Zotac may be using a reference PCB. the only thing these pics don't address is height clearance. while these pics make it very tempting to assume the best case scenario, i'm going to contact Zotac when i get a chance to see what they have to say about it.

by the way, does anyone have experience dealing with rebates through Zotac?

I have received a few. Had to contact them on one rebate, but they honored it after being prompted. It was strangely already "approved" but they never sent out payment. 🙄
