yeah just like I said in the other thread. the only time it makes a difference for a single gtx460 is in situations that the gtx460 is too week to handle in the first place. heck even in sli at 2560 with AA it really doesn't do much. for all the people at 1920 there is no reason, aside from maybe GTA 4, to pay extra for the 2gb version of the gtx460.
Yup, looks like there are no gains for the 460 core with 2gb of vram, apart from two games, with minimal improvements.. The extra vram still does not allow the 460s to deliver max settings in demanding games with AA at high resolutions.
As per the Crysis bench, settings had to be run on gamer.
Metro 2033 could not enable AA at all, and could not be run on max settings either.
Another review showing the 460 is really suited to 1680x1050, and cannot deliver good frames at max settings in many games at 1920x1200 and above.
