Using a pair of Zotac "Zone" edition GT630 cards, Kepler GPU, 384SPs / CUDA cores, DDR3-1600 memory. At least, that's the RAM according to Zotac specs on their web site.

I'm using each of these cards in separate PCs doing CUDA work. I have the newest GPU-Z open, and on the first screen, it lists the GPU clock as 902, and the RAM clock as 800.

Yet on the sensors tab, the memory clock shows up as 400.

Even when the memory controller load is at 100%, and GPU load is at 97%.

How do I get the RAM to run at full speed on these cards?

Is this an NV driver defect? Or did Zotac violate their own printed specs for these cards and ship them with gimped DDR3-800 RAM (rather than the more common /standard DDR3-1600)?

Well depends how it read it. Then 400 and 800 actually could sound right. GDDR5 is reported at 1/4th as well and 1/2 other places.

GPUz would report 800MHz for DDR3 1600,

I recommend trying another software before anything else, like MSI afterburner.

I finally got AfterBurner 4.00 installed on one of the boxes with the Zotac GT630 ZONE card, and it is reporting a memory speed of 800, while crunching with BOINC.

So I'm guessing the card is OK then?

should be the right memory speed, afterburner also reads the "real clock", so it's 1600 effective,

you can always just check the memory chips and google it to be sure about all the specs.
