This is not a true 9800gt. Along with being 128bit, the memory is 700Mhz DDR3, rather than the standard 900Mhz GDDR3, and the core is 550 instead of 600. This is a very low-powered 9800gt, closer to a 9600gso in performance, most likely.

well the 256mb 8800gs were an official nvidia reference spec. this really isnt.

The card looks like a cut down version of the 9800gt green edition. The clocks all match with the official specs. It's probably the correct chip, but the rest chiseled down to cut costs.
