Given that for $20 more you can get a 8800GT or 9800GT, this is really very average to poor. The 9600GT is similar to a 9600GSO/8800GS (most versions), which have been selling for $35-40 recently.

Looks ok, I thought the 9600's were rebadged 8800GT's, but they are not, they have half the pixel processors, still a huge upgrade from a 7600, but I'd definately spend the extra $20 for the X800 card.

Good deal considering they were twice this much at the beginning of summer. It performs relatively close to the 8800GT (I think within 5%) so I really don't think $20 more is worth it. I need a new video card but I'm also wanting to wait and see how low these things will go...
