Zotac 512MB 8800GTS

The website lists 2 year standard and lifetime with registration, but the Zotac website linked to on the page appears to be incomplete. There isn't any real information listed about the warranty. It looks like a good deal, though. 🙂

By the way, anyone questioning this e-tailer, check out all the posts about them. They shipped quicker than newegg for my product. I bought a raidmax psu from the egg at the same time and the card came two days earlier from a neighboring city.

Damn and I bet they wont have it still next weekend when I will have my money back from the egg arg

the 8800GTS 640mb I got arrived in 3 days. I got it for 99.99 after the $20 mail in rebate. I have to agree the 320mb for 79.99 is probably the sweetest one they have had.

are these card much better then my 3870 OC? Or just a bit better?

In certain games it will be a good deal better. Probably on the order of 40-50% in certain instances.

At this point it's not a good time to be upgrading though. The HD 4850 will be out very soon and that should make the <$200 market more competitive.

Nvidia releases next week, ATI the week after. IIRC, the GTS 512 performs about 15% better than the GT 512 (on avg). It's only just a bit better than your 3870; definitely not worth an upgrade at this point.
