This must be a theme with CBS shows.
They require you to leave your brain in another room, then watch the show.

This season, they got their version of super Abbies
vlcsnap_error417.png

Some laughable CGI animals, which Bob Barker wants more of, and a plot that has gone off the deep end trying to tie things up from last season, and trying to come up with another way to save the world.

I guess this officially marks the start of the summer doldrums in tv shows.

I got part way through season one. Just couldn't shake this feeling that I knew the main protagonist from somewhere ... and then it hit me: Bob Benson!

But, honestly, the show is fucking awful.

I saw that episode, the first I've ever seen, as I had it on in the background while I poked around on my laptop on the couch.

Interesting concept, but after what I saw? Zero interest. In fact, I may ask them to pay me for the irreversible harm already inflicted. :(

So, we got Slothquake followed by molequake followed by gatortunnel followed by outrun the gas!
...
...
They actually pay people to write this stuff?

Wait, these are events that played out in the series?

Are they trolling? lol

The first episode of season 1 was decent. Then it went HARD downhill. We still finished the season but it was just bad. Some things shouldn't be adapted to TV. Not that the book was great either but still.

Beginning, middle and end, writers! Don't turn it into a SOAP. This is why I gave up on watching LOST, DOME and HEROES. They all turned into crap!

Sadly, yes, they were all in this last episode.
The sloth that can cause a earthquake via emitting infrasonic waves at the fault line.
The moles just dug under a 35 story building, and brought it all down.
The gator was in the tunnel that was dug by the moles.
The gas event was in a small cylinder and it exploded, and one of the main characters was shown trying to outrun it, while the other new main character closed the doors on her so they wouldn't get gassed. BTW, we are talking a cylinder that was no more than #15 if not smaller, yet the gas cloud it produced made it seem like it was a bomb.

Sir, you know your gas canisters.

The show is kind of dumb on the storylines, and I don't know who decided that everyone had to hook up. For a summer drama with nothing else on, it's watchable.

You know, one of those hook ups is going to produce a mutant offspring...but yeah...nothing else is on, but, they are losing a ton of people.

So...

They actually killed off Chloe, the blonde. Guessing she didn't expect the show to last more than one season.

Place your bets on if she is really dead...
LOL at that small can of propane taking out a fence. That must have been the weakest fence ever created, and in no way would it have stopped a bear, let alone 5 of them.
It is also a good thing they got some insta-tranq guns taking out the bears.
I was waiting for someone to make a polar express bus comment... but noooooo

Boy, did it take a very long time to reach the ignition temperature pressurized propane when dropped into the fire.

Did the explosion take out the bears? I remember 3 or 4 being insta-tranq'd by the bus.

Nope, no bears were harmed in that explosion. It took out just the fence, and everyone fell over at the same time.
Come to think of it, I see no reason for that camp in the first place, it seems they just needed a way to stall for time while the team comes find them and they sure got some good tracking skills, they found them about as fast as the traq darts that took out the bears.

I somehow missed this before, but the gas canister that exploded contained the chemicals that should only kill animals with the mutant gene.
Are they trying to say that Chloe had the mutant gene as well? If not, then the gas killed her, which means that a global release of the same gas would kill everyone, which means they have all the proof they need to stop these plans.

They explained that the general is trying to hide the fact that the gas will kill animals and a portion of the human population -- estimate was 2 million.

Edit: And from just last night's episode...
The general, again, said something about how the guy making the gas sabotaged it to kill humans. Not sure if he was talking about the portion of humans talked about earlier or 100% lethal to humans that he sabotaged it to do.

What, they were out of those insta-tranqs? Funny how they don't have to measure the dose, they all take the same amount of dosage, no matter the animal size, and the dart just knows when it is enough!
Kinda funny how Bob Barker forced them to not "kill" (or use) any animals.

Just assume they're using 5x the safe/normal dose... Maybe the animals never wake up?
