Zone Alarm problem after uninstalling

Well i recently installed zone alarm and i couldn't connect online in my x fire, and my games. Right after i connect 8 sec or so i get disconnected. I tried uninstalling zone alarm but my problems are still occurring. My internet also takes about 3 to 4 refreshes just to load the page. I'm absolutely frustrated with this, I'm completely lost. Plz help me, and thx in advance.
