zone alarm & aim

i just download zone alarm pro 3.0 free trial version, and when i have it on i cant get into aim at all, i dont know what it is. i try to get on aim but it says aim service cant be reached. then i close zone alarm and its fine i cant get on aim. wth? i dont get it.

I don't use AIM, but I'm guessing AIM needs server rights. The ZA usually tells you this. Perhaps you turned that option off or answered No when it asked about AIM?

I think Staver is right in fact I am using ZA Pro 3.0 and I am able to chat friends with AIM no problem.

Try it again with Staver's advice.
