Oh man... I remember back in QuakeWorld Team Fortress doing that. I think it was a pretty early version of TF, playing a map that must've later been removed or out of normal play on servers. It had like two little castles, basically just four walls, on each side and IIRC the map was pretty small and dark. Anyway, sneaking over the the enemy's castle and lobbing MIRVs in was the shit. Hahaha.

You're right. The cartoony artwork completely sucks. We totally need yet another realistic team shooter. We haven't had enough of those at all.

I really like it. Its a fresh departure from the norm of todays games where everything must look as real as possible with the current technology even when it falls short.

I question the games tournament/ladder play. I think that needs some work. And the scouts shot gun is way to strong..

And I really like the sounds too. The sounds in Fortress Forever are horrible btw.

Orange Box? It's $45 now(pre-ordered) but will be $49 when it's officially released.

Matter as well get it now and enjoy the fun now.
