I'm happy w/ newegg, never purchased from ZZF aka GoogleGear. Newegg has a warehouse in my state, so I get the orders real quick.

Hey, you're not supposed to say anything.

I've ordered several things from ZZF and they are basically the same as Newegg speedwise. I have no preference between the two.

They do take awhile to actually ship but ussually atleast a day but never more than 2 days for me. Shipping is ussually 2 day so I get it in about 4 days from ordering. I have noticed that I ussully get my shipping notification a day after it has shipped. They are good if you don't mind waiting a little longer in some cases. Newegg has taken just as long in some situations for me so its a toss up really. With Newegg's high prices lately and 5+ shipping on every item its quite the turn off though.

I just bought a DFI KT600-AL MOBO, Sempron 2500+, and MSI Radeon 9250 for my father. Ordered on a Monday, it shipped on Tuesday, received on Thursday, as expected. Note, this was shipped to a business address.

I also ordered a case from them, but that wasn't free 2nd day, and it did take a full week (FedEx Ground) to arrive.

Same stuff from Monarch or Newegg... It would be here by now :/

Neweggs Fedex Express Saver takes 7-8 days to get to NY and it is shipped from NJ. ZZF always get here 2 days after it is shipped

I order from newegg on a regular basis, and have had orders shipped to both NY and MA. All of them arrived within 4 days.

Most orders ship from the CA Warehouse, not the NJ Warehouse anyways.

several cpus, a digitalo camera, a laptop harddrive....... they are as good as newegg, however have never tried the RMA because everything has worked

I just bought a whole gang of parts for my building my new computer from ZZF. Here is my overall experience:

First off, dont let the free 2nd day shipping fool you, sometimes it can be awesome, but sometimes I think its a gimmick. I priced the same system components through newegg with thier fedex shipper savings thing and newegg was a bit cheaper, only thing is they didnt have the processor I wanted in stock.

So i order my parts with ZZF, they end me an email confirming it, and then the next day they send me an email saying my shipment is delayed becuase my shipping address is different than my billing. So this was no problem, i called my CC company and added the address. But when I called ZZF to get them to reprocess my order, it was always busy. I had to call them a bunch of times to get through to a live person. But once I did, they handled it fast.

Everything came on time, and so far everything works like a charm, I am in the middle of installing win xp on the new machine.

Overall rating would be 4 out of 5, only becuase thier customer service could use some work. Hope that helps

I've bought 4 or 5 orders from them, everything has arrived on time and as expected. They are generally faster then newegg, at least for me, I'm in Michigan.

2 day shipping is after they have processed your order regardless of whether you have ordered from ZZF or not.

Remember: Nothing is free. Final cost = price + shipping. That aside, I have ordered from ZZF once. It was supposed to be 2 day, but took over a week. I prefer Newegg unless the price difference is great.

Last order....Ordered Saturday, received shipping confirmation Monday night, received items on Wednesday. I have had a few orders that have taken an extra day to process, but never longer, and I have never had a problem at all with any of my orders.

It's been a mixed bag for me so far.

Buying from them has been a good experience overall. Though I've had a few items not ship(my CC was already charged) since they didn't get to my order before they ran out, which I didn't know until the next day when I called to ask if my package was shipping that day. I did request a credit that was done in 3 days. Most of the items I bought were at a good price, and I received them in 2-3 days after ordering. Aside from the out of stock problems, buying is painless with ZZF.

My one and only experience with their RMA has been so-so. It's in their policy that it takes 2 weeks to process an RMA and it did take them 2 weeks to process my RMA. Add another 2 days since it took that much time for my RMA to move from their receiving department to their department. I emailed them at the end of the 2-week processing and got a standard response(within a day) of telling me to wait since RMAs take 2 weeks to process. 10 minutes later my PAYPAL was refunded minus the restocking fees. 2-3 week refunds are a little too long for my taste, but it's not a deal breaker. I do think ZZF is a great place to shop though.

The five orders that I've placed with them over the last three months or so have all shipped out within twenty-four hours and arrived two days later. All orders arrived in excellent condition and worked perfectly, so I have not had to deal with their returns/RMA department, so I can't comment on that aspect of their customer service. That's my two cents, FWIW.

I bought my mobo from them a month or so ago. I read their terms - if I didn't agree with them, I wouldn't have bought from them... Item arrived well within what their terms specified.

.bh.

Ordered my motherboard from them back in January. 2 day shipping means you get it on the third day. It was here right on time and in excellent condition. Couldn't be more satisfied.

Started buying from them in the last 6 months, because my local computer store had a lobotomy. Fast shipping, good prices, and they have stuff before most others. I will continue for sure.

Shipping and prices are fine from them, but you better hope you never do an rma w/ them.

I orderd a A8n-SLI on Feb 28 and it was DOA, it's been 2 weeks and it will be another two weeks maybe before I get a replacement, that's a total of 4 weeks .

They have a no refund/no exchange policy that is not worth the price you save from other vendors.. I offered to take a lesser cost board inplace of the A8n-sli for an even swap,
no luck, as they make no execeptions. Well they just lost a customer, and I buy 25K of computer stuff for my customers every year.

They take 10 days to process an rma and give you only $7 credit on shipping, I hope that when I receive my replacement that it works because after 30days from
the original order you will have to deal directly w/ the manf.. That will add another 2 weeks, which is pretty sad, because you will have paid for something brand new and
you could possible end up waiting 6 weeks for a re-furb from the manufacture....

Regards,
Jose

Recently their prices seem to beat Newegg. And offering FE2day made me purchase most of my new system from them. Very happy, except FedEx can't ever deliver it at an appropriate time.
