if you have bought from zipzoomfly before, how well did everything work out? i noticed most of their stuff has free 2nd day shipping...does this mean you will get it in two days or it ships in two days? or does it mean, like most things, takes one day to ship and then get it 2 days later?

dont even bother saying anything if you havent bought from them before
 
So far:

Ordered on Weds night. Thursday Confirmed my crap. Today is friday 12: 21 PM EST. No shipping notification.

Same stuff from Monarch or Newegg... It would be here by now :/
 
Got a couple of hard drives from them. I'd recommend them wholeheartledly.

Shipping, since its free may add on a couple of days in waiting time - but who cares? I normally wait until the weekends to mess with the rig and time it so I have my stuff by the weekend.
 
i ordered from them once with free 2nd day on a tuesday i think and got it on thursday. I ordered from them again on a friday and didn't get it till wedesnday. It varies, but I will still use them just for the free 2nd shipping. Even if it isn't actually 2nd day it is still free
 
No problem whatsoever. Ordered at the same time as Newegg and it beat Newegg to my door on at least 2 occasions. Otherwise, it arrived at the same time.
 
I have bought several retail Intel processors from them because they were the cheapest but also the service was good also. One time when I was ordering about 1000 dollars worth of parts for some reason it double entered the order on the website. I received a call from them 10 minutes later to verify I wanted that many cpu's. I thought that was very professional of them.

I've purchased from ZZZ several times and have been very pleased with ease of using their website, prices, packaging, selection, and speed of delivery. It was definitely quicker than the price gouging egg.

but yeah, they're quick. 2 days on about all my orders. once it took 3 days. can you believe the nerve?!

 
Every time I've ordered(about 6-8 times) it has taken a full 2 days before the parts shipped. Even though it is noted in their shipping policy, it still irks me a bit...

I've bought thousands of dollars worth of stuff from ZipZoom and Newegg. ZipZoom has consistantly given me better service at a better price. I even ordered some items a couple weeks ago and it went smooth as silk.

I haven't ordered from them in awhile, when they were still googlegear, but from what i can remember, it took 3 business days for things to arrive. No complaints here.
 
I just received three orders from them - all arrived a day earlier than expected. I have ordered regularly from them and NewEgg for several years (Back when they were Googlegear.)

When you receive something depends on where you are and where they are.

I am in Arizona - most of their shipments come from California. It is only a 9 hour drive from L.A. to Tucson, so UPS ground always gets here as fast as 2-day air.

Stuff coming from the East of me takes time as advertised - maybe longer.

Neweggs Fedex Express Saver takes 7-8 days to get to NY and it is shipped from NJ. ZZF always get here 2 days after it is shipped

 
they honor their free 2nd day to hawaii, for only a $10 surcharge for the entire order. i buy from them exclusively if they have what i'm looking for. 🙂
 
I'm guessing, it will vary from where you live right? And what shipping option you chose, well for free 2nd day shipping is for ground only right?
 
Mine took 2 days to ship and maybe 2 days to arrive. I'd be happier with them if it had shipped quicker and if I wasn't a moron. 😛
 
I'm happy w/ newegg, never purchased from ZZF aka GoogleGear. Newegg has a warehouse in my state, so I get the orders real quick.
 
I couldn't possibly be happier with Zip - best service, good prices, and 2 day means that it's here 2 days after it's sent (normally either the same day, or next day max).
