zip drive installation

Hi, i'm assembling a computer and i'm not sure which cable i use for zip drive. Do i use 80 conductor cable or i can use 40 conductor cable together with dvd-rom?

Also, how do i change it to slave? Do i have to use some jumpers or anything? I have no clue how to do that.

I have OEM version, and motherboard manual doesn't specify that.

Thanks

The installation of a Zip internal drive is similar to CD-ROM.

You can use either cable. (40 is good, it will work with 80 too).

The drive as a Slave Master Jumper.

either the 40 or 80 conductor cable will work. usually, by default, zip drives are set to be the slave drive right out the box. but if u want to set it as master... there should be a diagram on the zip drive about what pics will need to be jumpered.

Thanks again. It was my first computer i was building. Everything went ok. I appraciate your help guys. It's not easy to build it first time.
